Unfamiliar word? See our glossary of skin care terms.

Microneedling, also called collagen induction therapy, is used to improve texture and tone, surface scarring, and fine lines and wrinkles.

It uses tiny needles to create micro-channels (very small holes) in the skin. The process stimulates your skin’s natural ability to heal itself, and in the process it produces collagen and elastin.
